Codex: Squats

 

The Prometheus is the a smaller version of the Goliath Mega Cannon. Although devastating in it's own right, it doesn't pack quite as much punch as it's larger cousin.

Crew: The Prometheus has 4 Squat crew.

Weapons: Rocket Pistol.

 

 

SPECIAL RULES

Spotters: Surveyors are often used as artillery spotters. If the army includes a Prometheus Gun, and the squad of surveyors has a target designator, it may use the Surveyors line of sight as well as it's own. The Surveyors may not move or assault and a single surveyor may not fire in a turn in which they spot. The Prometheus may only fire at the surveyors target.

Enemy Fire: When a Prometheus is fired at randomize any hits between the crew and the Prometheus itself by rolling a D6: 1-4 Hits the crew, 5-6 Hits the prometheus.

Hits against the crew are resolved as normal, The Prometheus counts as a vehicle with an armour value of 12; any penetrating or glancing hits destroys it.

 

During the attack of Uzebeck Merk large exo skelatal mining vehicles were equipped with heavy weapons and large armour plates to help in the defense. The Squat dreadnought is the evolution of those mining vehicles.

Type: Walker

Weapons: The Dreadnoughts arms are equipped with a lightning claw and a close combat weapon. The Dreadnought also has a set of shoulder mounted twin linked missile launchers.

Options: The close combat weapon may be upgraded to a Power hammer for +15 points or a lightning claw for +25 points. Either of the Missile Launchers may be upgraded to one of the following weapons: Heavy Flamer for free; Multimelta for +30 points; Mass Driver for +30 points; ARL for +5 points; Plasma cannon for +30 points.

The Dreadnought my be equipped with any of the following vehicle upgrades for the cost listed in the Squat Armoury: extra armour, searchlight or smoke launchers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Coming from high gravity worlds has given Squats the strength to carry very large weopons. Thunderers are able to rip a hole through their targets, ranging from light troops to battle tanks, with their heavy weapons.

Squad: The squad consists of between 5 and 10 warriors.

Weapons: Rocket Carbine.

Options: Up to five of the Thunderers may be armed with the following weapons: ARL at +10 points, Mass Driver at +35 points, Plasma Cannon at +30 points, Missile Launcher at +15 points, Auto Cannon at +15 points,

 

 

 

 

 

The Loki is armed with a duel Heavy mortar which allows it to give the squats devastating close range support. Especially usefull in urban areas and dense terrain.

Type: Tank Crew: Squats

 

Weapons: The Loki is armed with Duel, Loki heavy Mortars, and a forward firing hull mounted ARL.

Options:The Loki may have its ARL upgraded to a Multimelta for +30 points or a Vulcan for +25 points.

The Loki may also have any of the following upgrades at the price listed in the Squat armoury:Camo netting, crew escape mechanism, extra armour, searchlight, track guards, smoke launchers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Where the Prometheus Gun provides long range heavy firepower, the Firestorm provides, a close range, yet devestating barrage that makes short work of all but the most heavily armoured troops.

Battery: The battery consists of between 1 and 3 Firestorm artillery pieces.

Crew: Two Squat crew per Firestorm cannon.

Weapons: The Firestorm crew carry Rocket Pistols.
